BitradeX is listed under unlicensed digital asset business.
Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission lists:
- bitradex.ai;
- the BitradeX-AI Crypto Trading application;
- and a related Facebook page;
under the activity category: Unlicensed digital asset business.
The record displays a last-updated date of 4 September 2026. This is an update date; it should not be read as confirmation that the warning was first issued that day.
A few months earlier, BitradeX held an anniversary event in Bangkok and claimed it had surpassed 2 million registered users worldwide. The two-million-user figure is a claim made by BitradeX and has not been independently audited.
Thailand SEC — BitradeX investor alert detailFour jurisdictions. Different regulatory assessments.
On 16 March 2026, the Securities Commission Malaysia added BitradeX to its Investor Alert List for websites, investment products, companies and individuals that are not licensed or authorized to operate in Malaysia.
On 16 April 2026, the Alberta Securities Commission in Canada added BitradeX to its Investment Caution List and stated that BitradeX and bitradex.ai were not registered to trade in or advise on securities or derivatives in Alberta.
On 1 June 2026, the Bank of Russia added BitradeXLab, bitradex.ai and bitradexlab.com to its warning list. Unlike warnings focused only on licensing status, the Bank of Russia explicitly recorded:
This means the regulator identified characteristics associated with a financial pyramid.
It is still a regulatory assessment rather than a criminal judgment that legally determines BitradeX to be a Ponzi scheme.

BitradeX confirmed withdrawals had been suspended again.
On 15 August 2026, BitradeX announced that it had attempted to restore withdrawal functionality in phases.
However, during testing, its technical team said that certain issues had not been fully resolved. BitradeX therefore suspended withdrawals again and entered an emergency maintenance period.
The announcement did not provide a specific date for when normal withdrawals would resume.
This is particularly notable because BitradeX's earlier guides described users as being able to withdraw assets directly on-chain to external wallets or exchanges.
BitradeX — withdrawal maintenance announcement, 15 August 2026Existing assets converted into USDN and split into locked and unlocked balances.
Five days before the withdrawal announcement, on 10 August 2026, BitradeX launched a Global Partner Program for a group of users.
According to BitradeX's own materials, existing assets belonging to participating accounts were converted into USDN at a 1:1 ratio and then managed through an unlocking mechanism.
The most important point was: only unlocked assets could be withdrawn or transferred. Locked assets temporarily could not be withdrawn or transferred.
In addition to automatic unlocking, BitradeX introduced an “accelerated unlocking based on performance” mechanism.
Participants could invite new users to invest in AiBot products. The amount of assets unlocked at an accelerated rate depended on factors including:
- the actual capital invested by direct or indirect referrals;
- product duration;
- and calculation coefficients.
BitradeX also stated that users whose total withdrawals exceeded their total deposits could be excluded from automatic unlocking and instead be required to use performance-based accelerated unlocking.
Meanwhile, BitradeX stated that new deposits, new investments and funds from newly invited users were not subject to the management rules applied to existing assets and could continue generating returns and commissions under existing rules.
This does not prove that new participant funds were being used to pay earlier users.
However, it creates a structure worth examining carefully:

AiBot was promoted with returns of up to 180% APY.
AiBot has been one of BitradeX's most heavily promoted products. The supplied research records a campaign in March 2026 advertising:
Certain AiBot programs also used a return figure of 0.5% per day.
The important distinction is that these are returns advertised by BitradeX, not independently audited trading performance.
No publicly available independent trading history equivalent to MyFXbook, independently verified brokerage statements, or sufficiently transparent on-chain data has been identified to demonstrate that actual trading consistently generated these returns.
BitradeX — AiBot frequently asked questionsYield programs continued to be promoted after withdrawal problems.
The research supplied for this review records a campaign on 2 September 2026, only a few weeks after the withdrawal disruption, titled “Original Yield Standards Temporarily Restored.”
The campaign advertised an allocation of up to 100 million USDT, allowing users to continue subscribing to AiBot under previous yield levels and encouraging users to prepare their funds in advance.
This describes continued efforts to attract capital into yield products while questions around liquidity and withdrawals remained unresolved.
Source-date check: the linked Help Center notice confirms a 100 million USDT quota but is dated 22 July 2026. It does not independently establish the reported 2 September campaign date. A dated primary-source copy of the September promotion remains to be attached.

Network commissions are directly linked to team investment.
BitradeX also operates a multi-level referral and ranking system. One version of its rules reviewed in the supplied research described VIP1 through VIP6 levels with commissions increasing from 10% to 60%.
To reach VIP6, participants were required to meet conditions involving:
- the number of direct referrals;
- branches containing leaders of lower ranks;
- personal investment;
- and total team investment.
One version of the rules required 15 million USDT in team investment for VIP6, while a later version reportedly increased the threshold to 18 million USDT.
- Direct referrals: participants could receive 10% of AiBot earnings generated by directly referred users.
- Indirect referrals: participants could receive 5%.
The system also included level-difference commissions and same-level commissions. BitradeX later introduced additional SVIP levels with even higher team-investment thresholds.
As a result, participant income is not based solely on personal trading or investment performance. It is also directly connected to recruitment and the amount of capital brought into the network.
This becomes especially relevant when viewed alongside the Global Partner Program, where investment activity from new referrals could accelerate the unlocking of previously locked assets.
BitradeX — team level and commission rules
A registered UK company that filed dormant accounts.
BitradeX identifies its corporate entity as BITRADEX FINTECH LIMITED, Company No. 16322746, England and Wales.
Companies House confirms that the company exists, was incorporated on 18 March 2025, and currently has an Active status.
Its sole director is listed as Kesavan Kamaraj, an Indian national residing in India. His identity was verified through an Authorised Corporate Service Provider for Companies House in May 2026.
However, a filing dated 8 August 2026 raises an important question. BITRADEX FINTECH LIMITED filed:
In other words, the company filed dormant accounts for the accounting period ending 31 March 2026.
During the same general period, BitradeX was publicly promoting AiBot and referral programs, and by May was claiming more than 2 million registered users.
A dormant filing does not automatically prove that the entire BitradeX operation was inactive. A group may use multiple legal entities, and commercial activity may occur through another company.
However, BitradeX itself uses BITRADEX FINTECH LIMITED as the corporate entity referenced in its registration and licensing information. This creates a legitimate question:
If BITRADEX FINTECH LIMITED is the legal entity behind the platform, why did it file dormant accounts during a period in which BitradeX was publicly presenting itself as operating a large-scale trading and investment ecosystem?
A “U.S. MSB License” is not a U.S. investment licence.
BitradeX publishes the FinCEN registration number 31000295285682 and refers to it as a “U.S. MSB License.”
However, FinCEN makes clear that being listed in the MSB Registration Search is not government certification, endorsement, or a recommendation of legitimacy.
The information in the database is submitted by the registrant itself, and FinCEN does not verify the information submitted by registrants. Registration must not be represented as FinCEN licensing an investment product.
FinCEN MSB registration ≠ investment licence ≠ nationwide crypto-exchange licence ≠ U.S. government approval.
CertiK audited a token — not AiBot.
BitradeX also references CertiK as part of its credibility claims. CertiK does maintain a profile for BitradeX and has performed a code audit related to the BTX token.
However, this needs to be understood within its actual scope. CertiK's exchange profile shows:
- Total Pentests: 0
- Certification: N/A
The BTX project profile also states:
- Team Verification: Not Verified By CertiK
- CertiK KYC: No
A smart-contract audit of the token is not an audit of AiBot, does not verify customer assets, does not verify platform solvency, and does not prove that the advertised APY is generated through real trading activity.

What evidence would clarify the case?
Several important issues remain unclear based on publicly available information:
- Which exchanges and wallets does AiBot actually trade through?
- Where can AiBot's trading performance be independently verified?
- What is the total amount of customer assets currently held within the system?
- How much USDN remains locked?
- How many withdrawal requests remain pending?
- How is USDN backed, and what mechanism supports its redemption?
- Why can investments made by new referrals accelerate the unlocking of older assets?
- What operational role does BITRADEX FINTECH LIMITED actually play if it filed dormant accounts?
- Which legal entity is responsible for customer assets and withdrawal obligations?
High concern until withdrawals and the source of returns are independently clarified.
BitradeX has a registered UK company, publishes a FinCEN MSB registration number, and has a token that has undergone a CertiK code audit.
However, none of these factors independently verifies AiBot performance or the platform's ability to return customer assets.
By early September 2026, the BitradeX case includes several significant elements: advertised returns of up to 180% APY; a network commission structure strongly linked to recruitment and team investment; warnings from four regulators; a Bank of Russia warning citing signs of a financial pyramid; BitradeX's own confirmation of withdrawal disruption; and some customer assets converted into locked USDN, while programs attracting new funds continued to be promoted.
These facts justify treating BitradeX as a high-risk case until the withdrawal situation, locked assets and the source of advertised returns are clarified through independently verifiable evidence.
